The three rates, straight

Our whole price list is three lines long, and this page is everything we know about those three lines. If you finish it still unsure which is yours, the callback exists for exactly that.

CrewUsually fitsRate
2 movers + 1 truckUnits, villas, townhouses, single big pieces, pack days$250/hr
3 movers + 1 truck2–3 bedroom houses, most split-levels, most downsizing moves$350/hr
4 movers + 2 trucks4+ bedroom homes, acreage, long-carry shuttles$500/hr

Hourly, from arrival to final placement. Packing materials are the one extra, quoted plainly when packing is part of the job. That is the entire price list.

Which crew is yours, in Forest terms

  • The two-mover crew ($250/hr) is the villa pockets off Narabang Way, the townhouse changeover, the piano that is the whole job. Two professionals and a truck; no crowd, no waste.
  • The three-mover crew ($350/hr) is the Forest's workhorse: the standard split-level with its half-flights, the three-bed brick on a sloping drive, most downsizing days. The third set of hands is what turns stairs from a grind into a relay.
  • The four-mover, two-truck crew ($500/hr) is the big family home, the acreage block where the drive is a journey, the long-carry battle-axe. Two trucks let a shuttle roll continuously instead of queueing at the pinch.

What actually grows the hours

Since the rate is fixed per crew, the honest variable is time, and time grows from knowable things: the carry distance, the count of half-flights, how much is packed and sealed before we arrive, the corridor the day has to cross, and the surprises. Every one of those is discussable before the day, which is the point of the callback and of the Carry Plan. A house that is fully packed, labelled and route-cleared genuinely moves in fewer hours; that saving is yours, not ours.

Why there is no second number

You may have met the other structures: the low teaser rate with a travel loading, the "from" price that survives until the truck arrives, the fixed quote with an access clause that un-fixes it. We run one structure because we would rather have the conversation up front than the argument on the driveway. The rate you are quoted is the rate on the invoice. If a bigger crew would finish your job cheaper overall, we will say so and show the arithmetic; if it would not, we will say that too.

A price you understand at the kitchen table is worth more than a discount you discover was conditional.

What the rate includes

  • The crew and truck(s) named in the tier, door to door, arrival to final placement.
  • Blankets, straps, trolleys, floor and jamb protection as the route walk demands.
  • The planning: the callback, the carry plan, the corridor timing. Nobody bills you for thinking.

Packing materials are the one extra, quoted with the job when we do the packing. No fuel levies, no stair fees, no weekend loading.
