The house move
The original brick-and-tile streets run the classic Forest playbook: check the drive, walk the carry, count the half-flights. The slope is gentler than Belrose's ridge but it has not gone; the downhill streets still decide where a loaded truck should and should not stand.
Crew: usually 3 movers + 1 truck at $350 an hour, the four-mover crew for the big corner blocks.
The unit & townhouse move
Complex moves are their own trade: truck spots agreed with neighbours or strata, common paths protected, lift and stair timings respected. We do them the way we do everything, planned first, and the two-mover crew at $250 an hour fits most of them.
Moving from a Forestville unit up to a Belrose house, or the reverse as the downsizing years arrive, is one of our most familiar runs.
Forestville legs run Warringah Road most days. If your move crosses to the beaches side instead, the Wakehurst Parkway works apply; here is how we time around them.
